Redefining Race Preparation

Have you ever bonked during a long run? Or made the mad dash to a porta pottie? If so, you’re not alone!

The good news is that there is a solution, and your racing and training will never be the same again!

“I had a huge PR 1:41:49 and the last 5k was my second best 5k time ever. A nearly perfect race. Thank you. The nutrition was a big part of it.”

Take your nutrition up to the next level, with fueling plans tailored specifically for your athletic performance. Your individualized needs for fluid, carbohydrate, sodium, and protein intakes, exercise duration, and other intangibles are taken into account in order to maximize your performance and recovery. This plan will include detailed information as to when to eat and drink (mile by mile), how to fuel during race week, and what your carb load should look like in order to let you focus on performing rather than counting your calories or wondering if you’re taking in the right amount.

Solve your stomach!

The right fueling plan can even people with a long history Gi struggles – even the people who have “tried everything”. Here’s one story of an athlete who went from blacking out at Kona to getting 1st and 2nd place in her next two races after changing her plan!

“… this was the first race in 2 years I did not take an Imodium pre race nor during the run and I did not have any GI distress. Generally the last few miles are touch and go as to what my gut will do – no problem. And I had no issues race morning!”

Race with a plan and race with certainty

“Everything fell into place today. I peaked, and the nutrition plan fit into the performance like gears in a machine!”

How good can you really feel, and how fast can you really go? Without a specific nutrition plan it is very likely that you have yet to see your best self. Smart nutrition means fueling for healthy energy levels, supporting your training sessions, and knowing what to eat and drink when it’s time to be at your best so that you feel as good at mile 22 as you do at mile 10!

“With Jeff’s help and expertise I’ve been able to get closer to my peak performance than ever before!”

Nutrition Consultations

Your initial nutrition consultation with Jeff can be done in-person or online, and lasts about 90 minutes. This allows time to talk about your current nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise habits, as well as your personal and family health history. Detailed body composition measurements will also be taken. Clear goals will be established, as well as a map of the most efficient ways to achieve them. You then work together to create positive changes that you can take with regards to your nutrition, which can fit within the context of your lifestyle.

“Thank you! I PR’d the marathon by 13 minutes!”
