Fasting has also been in the headlines quite a bit over the past few years, and is suggested to help with:

Are these claims true? Well, it depends on the individual as well as the type of fasting that is practiced!
I have spent countless hours digging through the scientific research on this topic, and published a review article a few years ago. Since then I’ve used a variety of different fasting methods with clients (and on myself) and have seen some very impressive results.
